HERITAGE, HARD WORK, AND FAMILY TRADITION
Our family’s farming roots run seven generations deep here in Ontario. While members of the family arrived in Canada in the late 1700s, it was John Kennedy who began farming around 1870 on a 100-acre property in Dixie, Ontario (now Mississauga). That farm remained in the family and operational until the 1960s.
Since then, the family tree has grown, and Erin Hill Acres is the latest chapter — proudly owned and operated by descendants of John Kennedy.
The Robertson family owned this property until 1953. Today, we are the fourth family to steward this historic land. When we purchased the farm in 2021, we immediately began extensive refurbishments and development to reimagine it as a year-round destination rooted in heritage, hospitality, and community.
