Childhood is a blink of an eye. Learning is life long. A few hours on the farm is fun for everyone.
Our School Field Trip Fun & Adventure program is self guided with the exception of the ADVENTURE WALK!
Field trip availability is on select dates in the spring and in the fall, when the farm is predominantly closed to the public. Please email us if you are interested in a date that is not currently listed as available.
Farm experiences are outside. Mother Nature is the boss and we operate rain or shine. Please instruct your group to be prepared for and dress for whatever weather is forecasted. Appropriate clothing and footwear is suggested as you will be walking through fields, tall grass, trails etc. Hats, coats, boots, runners etc are good. Sandals, slippers, flip flops are not good for farm exploration and play.
We have picnic tables throughout the courtyard area for your use.
Lunches & snacks brought from home are allowed for field trips only.
With advanced ordering, our delicious wood fired pizzas, hot dogs and mac & cheese can be available.
Our retail shoppe is full of treasures and treats. We accept cash & card payments. Please note that children should be accompanied by a caregiver whenever in the shoppe.
Field trip admission pricing: $10 + HST per person associated with your group. This is the price for each child, educator, care giver, support worker, volunteer etc.
We offer Field Trip Fun & Adventure often when the farm is closed to the general public. Other schools & groups may be on the farm at the same time as your group. But on some dates, the farm will be open to the general public as well as schools.
The deposit fee of $100 is to secure your field trip booking. Once you have made the booking, one of our friendly farmers will contact you to discuss your booking details.

It could be all of these things, but perhaps it’s just being able to get out in the fresh air where they can stretch, be kids and feel free.
